Grooming the next generation of Shariah scholars

The article presents the perspectives of Shariah scholars on how to expand Shariah pool of scholars and who to provide young scholars opportunities for growth in the Middle East. Dr. Mohamad Akram Laldin mentioned that scholars should explore learning opportunities by attending seminars, training and conferences. Sheikh Faizal Manjoo suggested the imposition of regulation and legislation that would limit the seats of scholars and the regulation of all the Shariah Supervisory Boards.
