All out of tune

RTÉ director general Noel Curran faces interrogation by the Oireachtas this week, and the money spent on the Eurovision each year is likely to feature. Given a string of poor results, not least of them Ryan Dolan's, there are legitimate questions to be asked - and answered. Perhaps Mr Curran might want to call his wife, Eimear Quinn, as a witness for the defence. She was, of course, our last Eurovision winner. Only problem is, however, that was back in 1996.
