Rumpke investigating landfill slide in Kentucky

The article reports that Rumpke Consolidated Companies Inc. is investigating the Pendleton County landfill slide in Butler, Kentucky on May 5, 2013. The landfill slide affected eight acres of the landfill. According to Molly Yeager, the company spokeswoman, the company is trying to figure out what caused the incident, and is cleaning up the exposed trash. The slide is said to have cost millions of dollars in damage to the landfill and equipment, along with a one million U.S. dollar fine.
