ABSTRACT
The article presents a report from the president of the Arkansas Historical Association (AHA) to the AHA membership concerning the association's activities during 2012. According to the article, the AHA elected new board members Simon Hosken, Linda McDowell, and Jessica Hayes in April 2012. The article states that the AHA was in strong financial health, discusses the publication of issues of the AHA periodical the "Arkansas Historical Quarterly," and also discusses the "AHA Newsletter." The article discusses the 2012 AHA annual conference held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the deaths of AHA members Jack Hill and Richard B. Dixon, and the resignation of Arkansas History Commission director Wendy Richter.
