ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Hopkins Architects' Brent Civic Centre, on Engineers Way in London, England, just off the main pedestrian route to the stadium which will be open on summer of 2013. It notes that the building is dominated by an ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE)-filled roof sailing high over a circular civic drum and atrium. Moreover the 40,000 square (sq) meter (m) building is on course to gain a Breeam outstanding rating and combines civic, administrative, and community functions.
