ABSTRACT
The article discusses the changes in the wedding traditions in Italy. According to wedding planner Valentina Lombardi, the number of couples who decided to marry in the month of May have increased. Data from the Italian National Institute for Statistics (ISTAT) revealed that nine percent of marriages were mixed in 2009.
