SOMETIMES the lure of the tropical brochure or exotic TV advert is so enticing that we forget we have some of the most intoxicating countryside on our own doorstep. You can get to it by car, train, coach and even boat - so no one is going to tell you that your hand luggage weighs too much and hit you with a £50 penalty!
