ABSTRACT
WHEN Carlow Manager Anthony Rainbow took his players to Ballykisteen House in Tipperary for a four-day training camp recently, he put a call into an old friend. With a resurgent Westmeath looming on the championship horizon, he wanted to purge an indifferent league from the system and remind his squad that coming from a less established county should be no impediment to ambition.
