ABSTRACT
Opinions differ on whether Eurovision is to be taken seriously as a song contest - and on whether we can ever hope to win it again - but there's no denying that, love it or hate it, it's a huge international television event. And it can be relied on to provide some fine entertainment - not all of it related to the musical performances. Graham Norton will be keeping a beady eye on the proceedings at the Malmö Arena, where last year's winners, Sweden, will be staging this, the 58th Eurovision Song Contest. Bonnie Tyler (above) is, as they say, flying the flag for Britain, with Believe In Me - a song (and a voice) good enough to win. But will she? I doubt even Total Eclipse Of The Heart would have won Eurovision. Saturday, 8pm, BBC1. Nigel Andrew
