ABSTRACT
RORY McILROY'S decision to create his own management company may have been inspired by the two-time Major winner's poor form this year, according to his good friend Graeme McDowell. McIlroy (right) is set to leave Dublin-based Horizon Sports and start his own company staffed by family and friends, less than two years after ditching Chubby Chandler's International Sports Management. McDowell was central to enticing the US PGA champion over to Conor Ridge's Horizon and last night the Portrush man insisted McIlroy would have to be satisfied with the job they have done for him since he joined in October 2011.
