MTS profit drops two-thirds as revenue grows 4.5% in Q1

MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) (RTS: MTSS), the largest mobile phone company in Russia and the CIS, increased revenue to Russian Accounting Standards by 4.5% to 66.24 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2013 from 63.4 billion rubles a year earlier, the company reported in its financial statement.
