1 Stocks stumbled Thu., but strong earnings reports and a May jump in consumer confidence lifted the S&P 500 2% for the week. The Nasdaq rose 1.8%, and the Dow added 1.6%. All hit fresh highs as distribution withered to 1 day on the S&P. Gold slumped 5%. Oil was steady. Natural gas recovered 4%. The dollar edged higher vs. the euro and yen, and the 10-year yield gained 5 clicks to 1.94%.
