ABSTRACT
2 At a House hearing on the IRS' targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups, the Treasury's inspector general said he told senior officials last June of his IRS probe. It's the first disclosure that Obama administration officials knew during his re-election campaign. The IRS' actions were "foolish mistakes" and "obnoxious" but not politically motivated, acting chief Steven Miller said.
