ABSTRACT
Erectile dysfunction, the regular or repeated inability to obtain or maintain an erection, affects an estimated 30 mil U.S. men. New treatments have emerged such as sildenafil, a main ingredient in Viagra and other ED drugs. But a study by a Northwestern and NorthShore Univ. team found nearly 75% of men diagnosed with ED don't seek treatment. Of more than 6.2 mil patient records studied, only 25.4% were treated. The report urged study of why the disconnect between diagnosis and treatment.
