This article discusses the phenomenon of sex addiction in India. According to Prakash Kothari, a sexologist and founding head of the Department of Sexual Medicine at the K.E.M. Hospital, one in 20 people is addicted to sex. Factors contributed to the growth in sex addiction in the country include the lack of sexual education and awareness.
