ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to medical malpractice in the U.S. as of May 2013. Medical Identity theft and breaches in data security are growing and thousands of cases are being reported every year. The statute of limitation in New York starts to run from the date of malpractice and not the date of the discovery of malpractice. The Oregon Senate and House approved the Medical Malpractice Mediation Bill.
