ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the study conducted by L. S. Legro and colleagues which examines the effects of gastric bypass surgery in the improvement of ovulation frequency and quality in obese women. The study uses Ferriman-Galwey score, dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry, and transvaginal ultrasounds of the pelvis to determine the improvement of ovulation after gastric bypass surgery. Results show that the surgery can improve the function of the reproduction organ of obese women.
