ABSTRACT
...AND FINALLY IT IS a terrific move by the SRU to take the Scotland national team north on a three-day training camp in Perthshire and the Highlands in preparation for their summer tour to South Africa. The 31-man squad will train at Blairgowrie Rugby Club, Grantown Grammar School and at a new community facility in Aviemore from May 27-29. All training sessions will be open to the public, while players will also undertake a specialist coaching clinic for some of the most promising Pathway youngsters in the Highlands. There is lots of rugby talent in Perthshire and the Highlands and it is only right that the fans who idolise the likes of Scotland captain Kelly Brown and winger Tim Visser are rewarded by a visit from the national squad.
