ABSTRACT
IT JUST goes to show how sick our society is and how out of touch the bureaucratic elite are with the majority of working-class people when town hall clerics and associated penpushers can earn massive salaries — more than the Prime Minister — just for doing their jobs, while fundamental services such as Meals on Wheels are cut due to 'lack of funds'.
