JUST a few short years ago, he and his wife were £40,000 in debt and living in rented accommodation. But Michael McIntrye's financial woes are now a thing of the past, as the stand-up has proved by splashing out on a £2.5million mansion. McIntrye, 37, spent some of the £21million he netted from his record-breaking Showtime tour, which took in Dublin last year, on the stone farmhouse. The pile, situated in a village in Wiltshire in south-west England, will be the new home for the comic and his wife Kitty, pictured above, and their sons Lucas, eight, and Oscar, five. After buying his first home - a £2.9million townhouse in London in 2009 - McIntyre said: 'It keeps me awake at night. I find myself looking at the bricks, touching them...'
