4 Pres. Obama said Treasury Sec'y Jack Lew requested and accepted Steven Miller's resignation in the wake of the agency's admission that it singled out Tea Party and other conservative groups during '12 election campaign. Obama, whose administration has come under fire on several fronts, said safeguards are being implemented. Earlier, a House panel grilled Att'y General Eric Holder over the IRS as well as the DOJ's AP staffer phone record grab.
