ABSTRACT
The article discusses the adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the construction industry in Great Britain. The three dimensional (3D) models of BIM can lead to the design and construction of better buildings at a lower cost. The five stages of a project wherein BIM should be involved include inception, design, documentation, construction and operation.
