The article discusses the Project Achieving Superior Parental Involvement for Rehabilitative Excellence (ASPIRE) which supports children's right of communicating and engaging with the world around them. It states that the goal of Project ASPIRE is to create an improved language environment for deaf children. It states that Project ASPIRE curriculum include diverse and cultural sensitivity strategies. Also presents a talk with Project ASPIRE graduate Jerlene, of being a mother of a deaf child.
