Windy rhetoric

I RECENTLY attended a meeting regarding the wind farm close to Glen Affric, Beinn Mhor. Well actually the wind farm itself wasn't on the agenda, as was made very clear by German developers WPD when valid questions were asked. Only the monetary benefit the community 'could' receive with the possibility of a 'community' turbine if the proposal is approved. What I found disconcerting is that this development is only in scoping. There have been no public exhibitions with visualisations or details giving residents a chance to consider it's implications. The planning application won't be submitted to Highland Council until the middle of 2014.
