PERHAPS it's because groupies never go for the drummer that makes Ginger Baker so grumpy. Journalist Michael Hann didn't heed the warning and regretted it. Lined up to host a Q&A with the former Cream snaresman after a preview showing of the film Beware Of Mr Baker, he quickly sussed why Baker, 74, is avoided like the plague. The old rocker greeted him with a flicker of his eyes, cursed him out and then ignored him before announcing he wanted to go home. Hardly The Sunshine Of Your Love.
