ABSTRACT
MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - The issue of foreign banks opening subsidiaries in Russia has been raised a number of times at talks on Russia's entry into the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), but Russia has held to its position: the prohibition will be preserved, the Russian government representative at the OECD accession talks, director of the Economic Development Ministry's department for cooperation with international organizations Vladimir Tkachenko, told Interfax in an interview.
