ABSTRACT
The article presents a report from the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) in the U.S. The NCADD Grassroots Initiative will be launched during the week of May 20, 2013. The U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont issued the first court case in the country to interpret the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) on April 30, 2013 in C. M. v. Fletcher Allen Health Care, Inc. The NCADD's 13th Annual Spring Luncheon was said to be a success.
