ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efforts of Deborah Szekely, wellness activist and founder of Rancho La Puerta, to connect individuals and small organizations to cooperate for healthier lifestyle and to build a wellness movement. Particular focus is given to the nonprofit launched by Szekely, the National Wellness Registry, to lobby Congress on policy about the preservation of the earth and protection of the people. The significance of organic food is discussed.
