ABSTRACT
The article reports on the data from research firm Renaissance Capital LLC, which reveals the New York Stock Exchange and the Mexican Stock Exchange as the top exchanges for initial public offerings (IPO) in the first quarter of 2013. A pickup in issuance is anticipated, with IPO returns outperforming and equity market stabilizing. The intentions of global companies to pursue an IPO are noted.
