ABSTRACT
The article reports that the cold storage and meat processing plant built in 1915 at Puerto Bories, Chile has been preserved with its conversion as the Singular Patagonia Hotel which opened in 2011. It describes the plant built by the Sociedad Explotadora de Tierra del Fuego including the refrigeration equipment installed by Haslam Engineering and UDEC which have been restored.
