ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study published in a 2013 issue of the "British Medical Journal" which suggested that high-potency statins, defined as doses of at least 40 milligrams (mg) simvastatin, 20 mg atorvastatin, or 10 mg rosuvastain, may be associated with acute kidney injury.
