ABSTRACT
The article discusses the findings of a study which shows how temperature affects the growth of the Dengue mosquito (Aedes aegypti). It cites that the research was conducted by Lauren Carrington of the Center for Vectorborne Diseases (CVEC), University of California, Davis. The results of the study proves that small and large temperature fluctuations were able to direct changes in several mosquito traits such as egg-laying, immature survival, and development time.
