ABSTRACT
Profile. In 1984, at the age of 94, George Seldes, once a globetrotting newspaper reporter who dined with Tito and discoursed with Lenin, published his book, `The Great Thoughts' which covers 2,500 disparate thinkers. Suddenly, he was front-page news himself, receiving recognition friends says was long overdue.
