ABSTRACT
Barry Manilow, now in his 40s, had a mid-life crisis, but he used it to write `Sweet Life: Adventures on the Way to Paradise,' his autobiography. He also used his crisis time to produce a new album, `Swing Street,' work on a CBS special and improve his physique. Manilow's problems stemmed from poor self- image, poor money management & unlucky career moves, things he now believes he's improved. His new album is something he likes, jazz.
