ABSTRACT

Immigration reform is transforming the shadow world of illegal aliens, including the educated, English-speaking European immigrants. An estimated 230,000 to 500,000 European-born illegals now live in the US, most of whom entered on tourist or student visas, and their problems have been largely overlooked. The Irish Immigration Reform Movement has formed to pressure Congress to change the law, ease restrictions or raise the US quota.
