ABSTRACT
The article presents the study of the Government Accountability Office (GAO) that investigates the performance of the KC-46 program of the U.S. military. The agency reviewed its development schedule, program plans, performance goals and key documents. It discovered that the KC-46 program is stable but it needed improvement in managing its schedule. Moreover, GAO recommended that the Department of Defense (DOD) analyzed the causes of the rapid management reserve allocation.
