ABSTRACT
The article presents the study of the Government Accountability Office (GAO) that investigates the efficacy of data performance reviews in boosting the management practices of government agencies in the U.S. GAO did the research on the Department of Energy, Small Business Administration and Department of the Treasury and surveyed their performances. Moreover, it found that performance reviews which are data-driven are promising but agencies should find ways on involving vital institutions.
