ABSTRACT
The article reviews a study of blood from 353 untreated patients to identify regions of recurrent copy number alterations (CNAs) and delineate areas of recurrent lesions by high-resolution genomic profiling in 2013. It states that increased CNAs were found in cases with fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)-confirmed mutations, with most lesions being in cases with high-risk genomic changes. Tumor-specific copy-neutral loss-of-heterozygosity (CN-LOH) were reportedly in 6% of cases.
