ABSTRACT
This section offers financial developments in the chemical industries in India. Oil company IOCL posted a 34% increase in net profit for the third quarter ended December 2012. A financial package was approved by the Rajasthan government to Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (HPCL) for the construction of a refinery in the state. Pharmaceutical exports of Indian companies are predicted to increase by 25% in 2012-2013.
