ABSTRACT
The article focuses on "The WHY of the Funeral," an innovative teaching model which can be used in educating the communities and families of the value of funeral service. It says that the teaching model compose of two poster-size display visuals on the six universal requirements of mourning and along with a brochure for families which they can bring home. The training guide "Educating the Families You Serve About the WHY of the Funeral: A Guide for Funeral Home Staff" is also cited.
