ACCORDING to yesterday's Irish Mail on Sunday, Mary McAleese's only son is being groomed for political greatness. We're told that senior figures in Fianna Fáil plan to approach Justin McAleese, 28, to run in next year's local elections. Suffice to say that it raises the issue of nepotism and the culture of political dynasties. Besides, outside of his surname, what exactly does Fianna Fáil headquarters think a man who spent his formative years living in the gilded halls of the Áras actually brings to the table?
