ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Boston Beacon Hill House, which is a miniature 18th-century New England style mansion designed by Claire Bagley Hammons. It says that Hammons incorporated the design of each room with her favorite aspects of a variety of New England homes while the walls are adorned with miniature portraits of her ancestors. It mentions that Hammons commissioned Frank Matter, a miniatures artist, to construct the house.
