ABSTRACT
When a new category of shape memory alloys is manufactured, transformation temperatures measurement becomes compulsory for a complete characterization. In the paper the authors propose two measurement methods for the intrinsic characteristic, one using dilatation measurement and the other using the resistance measurement. Measurement devices and results are also presented, with comments on the compensation needed in each case.
