ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of a survey conducted in the area of Technology and Innovation Management (TIM). A questionnaire-based mail survey targeted practitioners who were responsible for managing technology in Serbian companies. The aim of the survey was to examine the gaps between practitioners' needs for TIM knowledge and the TIM programs offered at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences (UB FOS). Results indicate that the areas that should be primarily developed in accordance to the need of practice are: Information technology and business. Financial aspect of TIM, Sustainable development, and Acquisition of technology. These findings indicate the directions for changes of academic programs' curricula in this area.
