ABSTRACT
Teachers' satisfaction resulting from working is defined as a positive feeling about his/her own work, which is derived from the evaluation of characteristics of the job itself. The principal style is principal behaviour in a working process, which influences on school performances. The aim of this quantitative research is to define connection between school principal style and teachers' satisfaction. The sample includes 11 primary and high-schools of Kragujevac region in Serbia. Two tools were used, first for teachers and second for principals. With the use of random sample, the questionnaire from each school was filled by 10 teachers and their principals. Since almost all of them were involved in this survey, this process resulted with 109 teachers' surveys and 11 surveys of school principals. The research obtained results which show that principal style, although with maximum values in Blake management network, does not influences on teachers' satisfaction. The reason for that lies in organizational culture of the school, which has stronger influence than principal and forces him/her to adapt to its requirements.
