DEFORMATION BEHAVIOUR OF COMMERCIALLY Ti GRADE 2 ALLOY

ABSTRACT
Commercially Ti Grade 2 alloy was hot processed (at 800°C respectively 900°C) and cold processed at room temperature with three different deformation degree (30 %, 45 % and 65 %). The experiniental research is focused on elasticity, measured in different, conditions. The deformation was peifarmed by micro-mechanical testing, using an indentation device which can work with spherical indenters. In the case of hot processing, obtained diagrams allow she best selection of implants processing technique in order to obtain desired propriesies. in the case of low-temperature processing the average elastic deformation show a similar behavior
