ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study is to design a set of mosaicplasty instruments, to manufacture an experimental model and test it in practice. Material and methods. The set of instruments ,nust Contain the following parts: trephines for the receptor area, trephines for the donor area, ,nandrel, samples, dilators, lamps. The parameters considered in this project were the physical, mechanical and chemical characteristics of the materials, instrument ergonomics, biocompatibility, accuracy and endurance in time. Results. We designed in 3D and manufactured 10 trephines, 6 pistons, 6 tamps, 5 probes, one mandrel and a support tray. Conclusions. The prqject is a complete set of instruments. It is precise, efficient, easy to sterilize, ergonomic and easy to use: it has a modular design which allows harvesting and implantation of different sizes of cylindrical osteochondral autogenous and allogenous grafts.
