McConnell to House; vote on stand-alone device tax repeal

This article reports on the move made by U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to push the medical device tax to a position front and center on the Congress and to suggest the House to quickly pass a device tax repeal as a stand-alone bill. Representative Erik Paulsen, the author of the device tax repeal bill, commented on the impact of the bill on medical device innovators. Reactions from the Advanced Medical Technology Association and the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance are given.
