Johns Hopkins students develop simple, effective cooling device

This article reports on the development of the Cooling Cure, a cooling device that can aid in preventing newborns from suffering from brain damage, by a group of students at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. The device is aimed at treating newborns that are deprived of oxygen before birth. The challenge of developing the device is discussed.
