The article focuses on the advantages of cold welding process. It states that cold welding offers is an energy efficient process and it creates permanent welds over materials without loss of electrical integrity. It also states that cold pressure weld produces a worked structure while joining two dissimilar metals as compared to the cast structure obtained in traditional welding processes.
